The Center Shop features unique craft and fine art offerings by local and regional artists, as well as a few from farther away. You’ll find pottery, brooms, baskets, wearable and non-wearable fiber items, paper work and stone carvings, jewelry, paintings in all media, wood items, photography and even some artist reproductions. All work in The Center Shop is juried for originality, craftsmanship, design and marketability. We jury each quarter; dates may vary. Artists who wish to have their work juried will need to submit three to five examples of actual work. We try to notify artists within two weeks of the jury date. Our jurors are tough, but see the process as an educational one and try to make sure a declined artist knows the committee’s reasons; those who are not accepted on the first try may submit again. If you wish additional information about the jurying process, we will send at your request. Paperwork for those seeking juried status will be filled out at the Center when the work is delivered.
